We will have an option of two projects this month. Who could resist using recycled magazines (don't we all have a ton?!) to make this whimsical and functional bowl.
Or if you prefer, you can make this super easy and inexpensive cake platter from those little plastic pony beads.
The supplies for the bowl are:
A Balloon
Old Magazines or Colored Paper
Scissors
Glue
Bamboo Skewer or Quilling Tool
The supplies for the cake platter are
Large Round Cake Pan
Enough Pony Beads to Cover Bottom of Pan
Something to use as a Base (can be wooden or glass)
Optional: Spray Paint for Base

February Project
Our February project will incorporate brass zippers, felt and hearts (for Valentine's Day of course!). This cute little pin can be used on your lapel, your hat, or anywhere that your imagination can take you.
You will need to contact me via email at educ8ed1@cox.net if you plan on attending this class.
Supplies:
Brass Zipper (20-24 inches long)
Felt in your choice of color(s)
Embroidery Thread to contrast your felt
Brooch pin
Optional: Beads
We will also continue working on our blankets for The Linus Project.
